What are the different types of Gatwick parking services available?

Parking at Gatwick airport (Long Term) can be categorised under three main headings:

1. Park and ride
2. Hotel Parking
3. Valet Parking (Meet & Greet)

Park and ride is a pre-book service that requires the customer to park their own vehicle in the car park operator's premises (distances from the airport vary with each operator). Having found a space, customers must then wait for a coach to take them and their luggage to the airport terminal. On their return to Gatwick airport, customers must again wait for a coach to take them back to the operator's car park where they can collect their vehicle.

Hotel parking allows customers an overnight stay at one of the many hotels in the area on the night before their departure from Gatwick airport. Included in the package price is their parking for the duration of their holiday / business trip.

Valet parking or meet & greet as it is sometimes called enables customers to drive directly to the airport terminal from which they will depart where your pre booked driver (valet) will be waiting to assist you with your luggage and park your car for you. On your return to Gatwick airport, your driver will bring your car back to the terminal ready for you to collect when you walk outside.

The Gatwick Parking Company is based just 3 miles from the South Terminal and 4.5 miles from the North Terminal.

Gatwick Parking Company drivers are fully insured for their road risk whilst moving a customer's vehicle between the airport and the car park.

How far in advance of my travel date should I book parking at Gatwick airport?

We accept bookings upto the same day of travel. However, the service is subject to availability. In order to avoid disappointment you should book as far in advance of your journey as possible, particularly if you would like us to arrange any additional services.

Yes but your car will need to be with us long enough for the work to be assessed, approved by you and then completed. Please be sure to give us some advance notice.

Do you offer a return shopping service?

Yes, we can purchase for you up to ten items with no commission. So, for example, we can have a pint of milk and a loaf of bread waiting for you on your return. The bill for these items must be settled in cash on your return.

How long will I have to wait for my car when I return to Gatwick airport?

You will be asked to call us when have collected your luggage. A driver will be sent immediately. All things being equal, the driver should appear with your car as you walk outside onto the arrivals level.
